Golden Gate K9 was established in 2011 by Retired Master Sergeant, US Army Military Police Kennel Master and Retired California Highway Patrol K9 Officer/Departmental Master K9 Trainer, Frank Romano. Frank has over 37 years’ experience working and training Military Working Dogs, Law Enforcement Service Dogs, security dogs, nose work sport dogs and countless family dogs. Golden Gate K9 is the Bay Area’s home for unsurpassed professional training.

Working with Golden Gate K9 is the ultimate training experience. We offer a wide range of training for law enforcement, private companies, sport enthusiasts and families. Our professional training and training programs are proven by the positive results of the K9’s that have been deployed in all areas serving and protecting our communities. Our Founder Frank Romano’s call sign while employed as a K9 Officer with the California Highway Patrol was “Golden Gate K9”. Frank Romano not only trains dogs and their handlers but has worked as a K9 Unit with the Military and Law Enforcement doing the job.
