Explosive Detection

Golden Gate K9’s Explosive Detection Dog Training Course is a 7-week course for 8 Target Odors. Additional odors are available upon request. Organizations choose the Target Odors desired. Our Course’s mission is to provide a highly trained Explosive Detection Dog Team that has the ability to Protect Lives, Protect National Landmarks, and Protect Property through Proper K9 Selection, Training, and Deployment Techniques. Explosive Detection Dogs can double as Therapy Dogs.

This Course includes a Certification by a disinterested Certification Official under any Standards.

In Golden Gate K9’s Explosive Detection Dog Course, the K9 Team learns how to safely and systematically facilitate the search of the environment for the target odors being hunted. The selection, training, and handler’s facilitation of the search pattern are critical to the preservation of human life and property. Golden Gate K9 takes special care in the selection and training of our Explosive Detector Dog Teams.
