Gun Detection

Golden Gate K9’s Gun Detection Dog Training Course is a 3-week course originally developed for School Detection Dog Programs but is now popular for many other uses such as: gun detection at various venues, evidence retrieval, search warrants, consent searches, and probation & parole sweeps.

Golden Gate K9’s Gun Detection Dog Training Course covers the total gun odor scent picture. We train on Target Odor as Gun Shot Residue with the gun being last fired at varying periods of time since last discharge. We also train on loaded and unloaded guns, ammunition, fired casings/cartridges, and disassembled gun parts.

This Course includes a Certification by a disinterested Certification Official under any Standards.
